Manavalamaamunigal Uthsavam – 2017 at Thiruvaheenthrapuram and Srimushnam
On Oct 23rd 2017 – As a part of 10 days Brahamostavam – our Sabha had the privilege of conducting 8th day – Kudhirai Vahana – Uthasavam @ Thiruvahindrapuram.
The day went with Arulicheyal Goshti, Swami Manavala Mamunigal Thirumanjanam, Maamunigal in Vennaikaadum Thirukolam and Kuthitrai Vahanam Utsavam

On Oct 25th – Our sabha had the wonderful opportunity for contributing “Thirupaniyara Uthsavam” for Maamunigal Thirunakshatram @ Srimushnam.

Swami Manavala Mamunikal Thirunakshathiram Moolam Celebrations - 2012-12-14

On 14/12/2012 – Morning around 5:35 AM our sabha members started to Thiruvahindrapuram. It was very nice and pleasant journey, first we reached ThiruVathigai ( Saranarayana Perumal) temple

Temple Entrance

Located 3kms East of Panruti, off the Cuddalore highway, is the Sara Narayanan temple in Thiru Vathigai, a temple whose history dates back thousands of years. There is a reference to Thiru Pura Vathigai in the 4th part of Brahmmanda Puranam, under Sri Sara Narayana Mahatmiyam. Brahmma is said to have shared, with Sage Narada, the greatness of Lord Sara Narayanan of Thiru Vathigai.

Lord Narasimha in Sayana Kolam
Lord Narasimha is seen in a Sleeping Posture facing south. It is believed that Lord Narasimha came here tired after a battle with Vakrasuran and killing him, and is said to have taken rest. Hence he is seen in a Sayana Kolam. Reference to this can be seen in Narasinga Puranam.
This is the only temple where Narasimha is seen in a sleeping posture.
From there we went to Thiruvathigai Ranganathar Temple.
Located about 5kms East of Panruti and about 15kms West of Thiru Vahindrapuram Divya Desam on the Panruti-Cuddalore Highway is the 7th Century AD Ranganatha temple in Thiru Vathigai, one that dates back to the early Pallava period and where the Lord is seen in a Sayana Kolam.
About half a km West of this temple is the Sara Narayana Perumal temple.

From there we reached Thiruvahindrapuram.
Around 11:30 Thirumanjanam for Swami Manavala Mamunigal started.
Thirumanajam started with Punyakavachanam and then the followed by Upanishad by around 1:30 PM thirumanjanam got over.

Temple Entrance

After having thathiyaradhana at around 2:00 PM, Swamin was decorated for Thiru Veethipurapadu and the 5:30 PM with Upadesarathinamlai goshti Swamin was taken through Thiruveedi and the reached the sannadi around 7:00 PM.
Inside sannadhi there was Thiruvaimozhi Noorthuandhadi goshti and finally we started back to Chennai (approx. around 9:00 PM) and then reached back around 12:30 PM, It was very wonderful trip for more details please contact us through phone or email.

On 01/07/2012 – Morning around 5:45 AM our sabha members started to Thiruvahindrapuram. It was very nice and pleasant journey, reached Thiruvahindrapuram around 9:00 AM.

First had darshan of our acharya swami Manavala Mamunigal

After having a very good dharsan, we also found our acharya swami Sri. U.Ve. Kovil Kandhadai Chandamarudham Doddayacharyar swami and other swamins were reciting EEDU Vakiyanam

After dandamsamarpithal we had our dawadai parayanam (morning pongal ) at swami sannadhi and then we went to Devanayaka permual temple.
First we had prokashanam of Sesha Theertham, then we had darshan of sengamalavalli thayar and then we went to Devanayaka perumal sannadhi, We had a wonderful darshan, Usthavar came out to thirumanjana mandam for Dwadasai and Swamin Nathamunigal Thirunakshtra celebration.
After having darshan we came out Swami Vedantacharyar sannadhi, Where Swami was ready for Thirumanjan we had a very close darshan of his tirumeni. From there we very quickly rushed to climb the small hill to have the darshan of Hayagreevar.
We climbed the small hill and then had a wonderful dharshan of lord hayagreevar, Krishnan and Garudan (in Aacharya ashtham).
Then we rushed to Manavala Mamunigal sannadhi as it was getting late for Thirumanjanam.

Our Sabha has requested Manavala Mamunigal sannadhi – Thiruvahindrapuram to allow us to participate in adhigapadi moolam thirunakshtra uthasavam. We very sincerely want to thank them as we are able to perform this Kainkaryam from 2007.

3. Purapadu – Thiru Veethi purapadu
4. We offer darshan at Devanayaga perumal , Hayagreeva perumal sannadhis and Vedantachayar Sannadhi.
